Challenge
An Australian company was outgrowing Salesforce and moved to SAP Business One for its financial robustness and room to grow. But SAP B1 is a desktop application accessed over RDP, a world away from the browser-based freedom their team was used to, putting day-to-day productivity at risk.
Approach
We set out to give the team Salesforce-like ease in the browser while protecting the robustness of SAP B1 underneath. Rather than replace SAP B1, Honeycomb wraps it: a fast web interface and an automation layer talk to SAP B1, so finance keeps its single source of truth and everyone else gets a modern UI.
Solution
Honeycomb is a browser-based platform built on top of SAP Business One. It automates sales-order management and printing, and adds business-partner management, dashboards and reporting, all in Salesforce-like interfaces. The team works from any browser; SAP B1 stays the robust system of record. Productivity climbed sharply.
